Udyog Aadhaar or MSME registration is granted to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Businesses under the MSME Development Act, 2006. Classification of entity into Micro, Small, Medium Category is done based on investment in plant and machinery.

Requirements for MSME Registration:

  • PAN and address of entity
  • Name, PAN, Aadhaar, Mobile and E-mail ID of Applicant.
  • Bank Account Number with First page of Passbook
  • Number of employees in entity
  • Nature of Business and Type of Activity.

The MSME registration is not statutory but recommendatory with a lot of benefits like:
